The only liberals still living in the 1960s are a tiny fringe with little power or representation; the left could purge every last one and it wouldn't change a thing. Liberals have moved to the rightSo perfectly true; so observant about contemporary liberalism; so in keeping with the tenor of the times; so much the worse for us.
